Construction Committee

The HACC Committee for Construction, Architecture, Design and Engineering (C.A.D.E.) was established in 2009 to foster and ensure referral business between members of the HACC in the industry. The group is composed of architects, engineers, owners, developers, construction managers, contractors, designers, tradesmen and suppliers spanning the entire spectrum of design and development.

In addition to the success of its member referral network the committee’s goals are to forge and ensure the longevity of the business interests of its members within the New York City Construction community. To that effect the committee works to build programs for its members for the purpose of being informed and working with various Federal, State and City agencies. In the private sector the committee has built a network of construction knowledgeable contacts for the benefit of its members including property owners, property managers, general contractors, Green companies, suppliers, attorneys and insurers. The committee also hosts various networking events that allows its members to build business relationships while introducing them to employment opportunities.

The committee will launch its Sustaining Member Participation (SMP) in 2013 where paid members of the HACC will have preferred access to all of the contacts and resources of the committee.

Committee Leadership

Stamatis Ghikas – Executive Advisor
Stamatis Is the Executive Director of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce and is responsible for the coordination of all HACC activity.

Michael Theodorobeakos – Founder/Chairman
Michael is the owner of Minosis a Manhattan based General Contracting Company. Michael also serves as the President on the Executive Board of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce. He has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry.

Taso Pardalis – Founder/ Chairman
Taso Is a partner at Mavromihalis, Pardalis & Nohavicka, LLP. Taso serves as Vice-President on the Executive Board of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce. It was Taso Pardalis who envisioned, became the advocate for and petitioned the Board of the Chamber to create this committee.

Anthony Kammas – Founder/Co-Chairman
Is president of Lyons General Insurance Agency. Anthony has been part of the committee since inception and currently leads the committee in its endeavors. Anthony sits on the Board of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce.
